Looking, not selling…

Anyone know a fair price for ESP Ra.De.? Armed Police Batrider too?

I’ve been playing a few vertical shooters on MAME lately. ESP is by far my favourite to play, and I love the aesthetic and boss rush options of APB. Great fun!

I’m not actively seeking them, but if I see one come up I could be tempted, as long as I know it’s a fair price.

I’m not fussed on getting full kits or art, I’m more interested in simply playing, so just an original fully working board…

I know they’ll be pricey, but if it’s bonkers then I’ll settle with the PS4 version of ESP.

You won't get them for a fair price. The nonfair price would be somewhere between 1k and 2k for batrider depending on who has a few bitcoin to spend at that time.

Yeah, I’m getting that impression…

There’s a Batrider on here for £1400, but that’s a ‘full kit’ which massively bumps up the price, plus being an import would be a big VAT hit too. I just can’t do it…

If I’m simply too late to the party, then so be it. You can’t own them all, but I do really enjoy these two.

Esprade is "cheap". It's like 600 euros.

APB on the other hand,. The price seems to double every year.

Still surprised Batrider didn't make an appearance in the Shottriggers series.

Get a PS4 if you haven't already, Beansy.

I’d be more than happy with €600! It’s serious money to spend on a game, but I can justify it by the fact it shouldn’t lose value.

Any idea where I might find one for that?

I can see why Batrider is so sought after. It’s quite different to most vertical shooters. Big roster, boss rush and advance modes available right off the bat, and it’s fantastically presented.

I do have one that hasn’t been plugged in for ages to be fair.

I’m told Ketsui and ESP Ra.De. are both really good ports. Any other reccomendations?

I’m also going to pick up the PGM conversions of Espgaluda and Ketsui as they’re supposed to be good and are definitely affordable.

(Sorry, we’ve got off topic! :shifty: )

All of the Shottriggers series are near perfect ports.

Dangun Feveron (Cave)
ESP Ra.De. Psi (Cave)
Battle Garegga Rev.2016 (Raizing)
Sorcer Striker (Raizing)
Ketsui: Kizuna Jigoku Tachi (Cave)
Toaplan games to follow.

Most of Darius games are on PS4, including the 2/3 screen ones. Plenty of old shmups on Arcade Archives. Lots of other random stuff like Vasara collection. Progear is on Capcom Arcade Stadium. Plenty of new titles by smaller developers.

Would like to know what I'd have to put to the side if I was going to go after one of these (EUR/GBP/USD). State of the monitor is more important than the shell, or should I rather ask for the monitor instead?

Sega Astro City
Sega Net City
SNK Super Neo 29
Sammy Atomiswave SD
Taito Egret II
Konami Windy
Capcom Impress

Impress probably not a beginner's cab; what about the others?

Thanks
