You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread

AKA The Valuation Thread

Image

Despite the fact that I love it, not to mention it looks amazing in 24k, I think I'm may sell my G4 PCB; mainly due to the fact that, no matter how many times I've played it, I just can't pry Radiant from the CL. Anyone know a good price to ask for on this? If it's worth it, I'll part with it; as surely someone will give it the play that it deserves.

The case is in excellent condition - and I have the move sticker, flyer, custom made marquee, and the 15k Jamma adapter as well. Thanks for any input :]

What's it worth?

Post by John James Pacinelli »

Hiya goombah,

This is JJP the Italian bloke, childhood in NY, grown up in Italy, living in Asia. I've just purchased a NewAstro which is currently being refurbished. The seller also has the following stuff I'm interested in, how much should I pay for that (USD):

1) Naomi2 +gdrom (have seen them for around 400/500 usd on ebay)
1) Atomiswave (I was thinking 200ish)
1) NeoGeo mobo brandnew 1 slot (I have no clue... a hundred bucks?)

Thx beforehand :D

Your prices are about right.

1) Naomi 2 +gdrom £200
2) Atomiswave £80
3) NeoGeo mobo brand new 1 slot £60 for a Neo Geo MV-1C in the box

Those seem like pretty "standard" prices to me for that stuff -

Of course, if you're all buying it from the same seller, surely you could get a discounted purchase for multiples, no?

And for what it's worth, IMO, unless you're a diehard VF4 fan, I never quite understood the appeal of a Naomi2 over a one; aside from the fact that the colors match the DIMM & Drive, lol. A dedicated Club Kart is one thing, but really....

Really though, even with shipping, you may be able to get a better deal on YHJ - best of luck either way :)

That's true. As a matter of fact I am definitely gonna ask for a quantity discount. B4 doing that I just wanna know how much every single item is worth to reckon my savings.

It better be US dollars, sounds about right while pounds sterling would be massively overpriced. I'm selling a motherboard at $180 USD shipped.

$180 is a good price for an AW mobo.

I think $400 for a Naomi 2 + Gd Rom would be a decent buy too. You can pick up VF4FT with all the hardware for $500 ish so don't pay too much more than $400 without games & possibly a 3.17 dimm.

Re: Gradius IV PCB price check?

Oh you bitch :) I finally got round to tating my Windy last night (which has G IV burnt in on the monitor) and it's staying that way forever now. Otherwise I'd have nabbed it.

Price wise I'm sure that should fetch £200-250.

Have you not tried shifting it via Schmups?

Maybe £40?
