Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread
Thinking( just thinking at the moment ) about letting one of my Egret II go, don't have the space or the time like I used to.
Cab is in beautiful condition, chassis was serviced by Grant (2 year ago) .Zero and I mean zero burn on screen, had this cab for over 12 years and never let me down.
What's the going rate for one of these now?

Honestly, if a Pony is selling for €4k I would start with €6k. This might be too high but at least no reseller is getting it.garrz32 wrote: ↑July 4th, 2021, 3:59 pm Thinking( just thinking at the moment ) about letting one of my Egret II go, don't have the space or the time like I used to.

Hi :
What is a star soldier vanishing earth cart and motherboard really worth these days. I am asking based on what the community feel it is worth.
Do not use recent sale for one come into the pricing.
Also how often over the years have these come up?
Also would like to know what a tower and shaft cart and pcb working set would be worth.
Nb: these are aleck 64 systems.
Regards
Euphoria

Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread
I've never seen anything Aleck64 for sale so they're properly rare beasts, but if you want my personal valuation and not what they sell for, you'd have to give me a few quid to take it, it's a bit of a turd of a game.

Hi :
Ha ha ha funny. From a sales point of view mabey, from an interest point of view mabey not.
It all depends on what you do with what you have.

Yeah there's no doubt they're rare, which usually means expensive. They're Nintendo and a cool bit of history with a bit of drama in their story, so there will definitely be collectors out there for them. I just don't think the games have aged well on them.

Don't you also need specific joysticks for these motherboards too?

Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread
Hi :
Actually you need 1 x analogue joystick made for the system, for the game. It is single player as is the n64 version. So i am informed. I am still after a rough price though.
