Nightslashers is an expensive game, no doubt.

But looking at that link, and the sellers asking prices for other stuff...I'm becoming increasingly sceptical of these one-off sales.

It's far too easy to have a rare enough game, advertise it, "sell" it to yourself, et voila...a thousand people will oooh and ahh at the price...now it's apparently worth that price to others.

Like insider trading or stock market manipulation, a lot of sales smell fishy.

Ok, guys. Thanks for the input, the price seems to vary quite a bit. I know it's expensive but I don't wanna ask a premium. Just didn't found any closed auctions as of lately.

By the way, the ebay link is not the JP version as the text is in English (I'm fairly certain you can't switch the language in the test menu).

Dang, I bought & sold it for $250 a good 10 years ago... I think I even got the Japanese ROMs from a friendly fellow on this very forum. :awe: This game is definitely not worth $1000+ in terms of its quality. That may be different if only all the stages were as gory as stage 1, but the game is just a bit boring once the zombies are gone. Maybe I'd talk differently if I still owned it.

I thought I'd ask here...

someone had a wanted post for a Irem M72,
I replied on the post as just got one back from repair. He updated to say found.

Now I have a few people messaging me for it, asking a price.

I know these boards are fairly valuable and in demand. But what is the right price to charge in peoples opinion?
The board got serviced and repaired by irongiant phil here in the uk.
"There was a faulty EPROM on the ROM board and a faulty custom chip on the lower video board. I also reattached the torn off wires that go from the top ROM board to the volume pot on the middle board (for some sound effects)."
A second hand custom was installed

So the board is clean and not butchered.

thanks

Depends on which board and if the license seal and labels are present.

Hey dudes, doing a bit of a clearout at the moment, came across these. A House of the Dead 2 marquee, but complete with it's original pop (tends to be missing from cabinets from what I've seen?)

Anyone see an approx price for the pop recently?

Last one here sold for 1900 Euros. Over on Arcade Projects one sold for $2250 USD this month. In Japan they've gone for 150,000 - 240,000 yen in the past year or so, with most somewhere in the middle.
