For a bit of context, there was also a Batrider board that sold on Arcade-Projects about a month back for 1200 EUR (so, about $1420 with today's exchange rate.) That was an A board that had the B version roms burnt onto it.

Is STV considered a reliable seller? Currently in a nightmare scenario with the first PCB I've bought from him. Sold me a broken board and he can't be arsed to make it right currently.

I've bought dozens of PCBs from him over the years and never had any issues. Always as described, shipped quickly and well packaged. Although I've luckily never had any boards arrive broken/damaged.

He's banned from trading here because we had a lot of complaints about him buying everything in sight and flipping it for profit as well as fudging serial numbers on kits. I always thought it was a real shame as he seemed like a nice guy. He was an active member of the forum and hooked me up with all sorts of stuff back in the day at a reasonable rate. I guess he just got a bit greedy. By all accounts the locals were seriously **** off with him waiting on the doorstep of Mak and G-front to grab the latest PCBs and flip them on his store. It seems even he has been priced out of doing this now though.

He was a bit of a trendsetter, nowadays its perfectly normal and comments on pricing is frowned upon on most forums. So yeah i'd say go for it.

Although several people have said "he is fine" and other nice comments, the experience you describe above sounds anything but "fine". I've heard enough bad stories over the years to know I'd never buy from him.

He's only "fine" until he sells you a broken board and refuses to do anything about it!

I've been warned about him, but it mostly boils down to whether or not you want to support someone that's hurting the community by price gouging and profiteering in a wrong way.

Being a bit cheeky, I’ve been out of the community for a long time.
I’m trying to get an idea of what my cab is worth.

I have an Aero City that came over as a bulk purchase as part of the old candy cabs forum.

It’s fitted with an RS 2 player, 6 button control panel. 220V conversion.
Bit scratched, no burn, but monitor has a slight wobble towards the bottom of the screen (vertical). Working, sound and marquee lights.

Also Toaplan Out Zone PCB.

Any pointers much appreciated, cheers.
