Re: Is grail? Yes, yes it is ...
I lied, I tried to buy 2
13/10/2007, the exchange rate was 230 JPY!!!
Sorry for did not reply to you till now.
ARKANA HEARTFull (brand new) 50,000 X 1 aval
IBARRA (brand new) 23,000 X 2 1 pc. Sorry for we would like to sell it only 1 pc for one customer. We would like to share this item with our many overseas customer.
Can you tell me if either of the new kits include a poster? Ibara does not supply a poster.
To the best of my knowledge, that was the lowest any new cave kit dropped to.

Re: Is grail? Yes, yes it is ...
With Deathsmiles getting PM's at 700e and Futari 1.5 at $750, I'm considering selling some PCB's. Any idea of grail pricing for the following?
Donpachi world version
DDP DOJ Tamashii (PGM 2 version)
DDP 2 Bee Storm China version
Esp Ra De world version
Espgaluda
Espgaluda 2
Mushihemi Tama
Ibara
Please don't PM asking me to sell you X game, chances are most or all will be staying with me.

Re: Is grail? Yes, yes it is ...
i think big part of it is people selling off console system stuff for silly money and wanting to re-invest it in what realistically looks like a more stable commodity (long term) in the same arena. if you look at the top end console stuff thats very common by comparison to pcbs the prices were a steal until this year, and console prices had their boom 12-18 months prior and its filtering down into the rarer but quality things now (look at ngpc stuff now compared to a couple of years ago).
to me its not a question of nostalgia in a very select consumer that has 1k+ to drop on a single game, i don't think theres enough people in that category to drive the prices they way they have its renown from being educated about this genre of entertainment hence the big hitters doubling or tripling in the last year. though with the scarcity of the items in question this is could be easily debunked, I've never really looked at the atari bubble but lot of the economics would be applicable to work out whats happening, though i think that the major difference is that the atari stuff was all about nostalgia and mis-information, but a major potential parallel is in the age of the buyers and their disposable incomes and that relationship in itself. but arcade pcbs whilst numbers are higher than what marketplaces indicate what watching them does show is availability, how many copies of tatsujin-oh appeared when it hit 600 a couple of times? and the same for r-type leo when it hit 400 a couple of years ago now its down to 300-325 after the market got flooded and the m-92 conversions started to appear. I would be interested in what people think exists today 500 copies of dodonpachi world wide more? less? how many for batrider, or batsugun or tatsujin-oh? and the only people that could really say would be shops like mak or g-front though i doubt they would ever impart that information. there is a school of thought that also put these games in a historically significant position; being thought to be the pinnacle of gameplay or pixel graphics - the modern antique
