I sent some to vectorglow have a look at one a while back, but he couldn't fix them. I gave 2 to a mate of mine to have a look at but he couldn't do anything with them. The others got binned after that.
From what I recall it's not just one custom, several of them are prone to breaking down, and there is no replacement available.

I suppose in time someone will reverse engineer them, but while A-boards are still quite readily available I guess there's been no need.

I'd love to see a patch to fix that. 8-)

Can you let me know what the going prices are for these games please?

Puzzle Bobble : Neo Geo MVS
Tecmo World Cup Soccer '96 : Neo Geo MVS
Super Side Kicks : Neo Geo MVS

Teki-Paki : Jamma
3 Wonders : CPS1 Jamma

Im unsure if its a conversion though so if you can check the photo and let me know and how much I should ask for these games that would be awesome

That 3W CPS is a conversion. Not sure how much a conversion is worth. Original can we worth around €75 - €100

Three Wonders, you can still expect a reasonable amount for a conversion, I would say £60-£80.

A working SFII will cost £50-£60 and it's about £20ish maybe for the EPROMs.

I don't think it really makes much difference if it's a conversion or not. I paid around that region for an original 3W (or afaik it is - with a couple of roms replaced). I might have been lucky though.

It was one of the cheaper CPS games and priced at the lower end of CPS hardware it was often sacrificed to convert to other stuff. So conversion or not, either way it was worth a little more than base cost for CPS board set. Maybe it's getting rarer and the roles are reversing. It's a brilliant board to own imo.

By the way the football games have little value. You could try a tenner each. No one ever buys them though. :(

I was thinking the same price to be honest. The only football games I ever play are either sci-fi ones like Soccer Brawl or old school like Sensible Soccer or Fifa 96 :P

cheers Joe

I quite like Soccer Brawl too. Back on the Amiga, despite Sensible Soccer trouncing Kick Off 1 & 2 according to pretty much everyone, I always liked the Kick Off games much more. Probably because I enjoy pinball more than football.

Hi, due to space constraints i'm considering selling my Astro City to move to a smaller Cab. Pics and details here.

http://forum.arcadeotaku.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=26039"

Condition and screen are both really good. The control panel features all new sticks buttons and wiring. And a new overlay.

All ready to go with a step down included.

What sort of price could I expect?

Thanks
