Thanks richy..

The box serial has been removed. This is probably a kit that's been put together from single items.

You think it would be worth my while to look for and add the missing bits? Value complete and value as is?

Can any of you kind folks advise me on how much a 1943: Kai is worth please? it's original Kai and not the normal Battle of Midway which they made in abundance. I read somewhere that they made 100 or so of these Kai but that's just a rumor.

Because the serials don't match and has been "made up" into a kit you can really only value as what it is..

cps2 box - £25
artwork / manual - £25 - £30
ssf2x B board - £90 - £100

i don't think buying the pop art etc will make the value of the set any higher.

Progear is valuable enough that nobody in their right mind would damage the resale value by letting the battery die. For that reason, you don't see many original boards which have been phoenixed.

Conversions are fine, 100% identical to an original board in every way that counts to a gamer.
Yeah, sorry, I should have been more clear. Legitimate phoenixed boards are fine to buy/sell here, estimate around £220 plus postage. For a non-phoenixed original, a little more I would say, perhaps upwards of £250 plus postage.

Conversions tend to go for around £80 plus postage, but they cannot be sold/bought/requested here.

I'm clearing out some stuff I have spare:-

Pana custom supergun (not the version with mah-jong buttons along the top which is MP92) 240V converted, comes with PANA > JAMMA & CPS2 kick & RGB > RGB21 cable, also comes with XRGB-2 with UK PSU, PANA paintwork has been touched up but everything seems to work OK (credit, starts, auto fire etc) - I'm thinking around £250? or should I get a PANA > SCART lead & sell them separately?

Sega GD-Rom drive with mount, cables & non-net dimm - thinking £80-90?

Mars Matrix CPS2 - Green case - I will change battery this week - thinking £70?

^^This!

£160 - £180 for the Pana Custom before shipping and I'd throw in a £1.99 SCART to S-Video and 3.5mm jack!

Paying for the FULL SCART to RGB cable won't add to the overall value and should be left to the discretion of the buyer to sort out after purchase IMVHO.

HTH

Cheers,

Ralph.

An rgb21 to rgb-scart adapter is simple to make and more useful than a system-specific cable anyway imho.

I have gained interest in perhaps at some point buying a Golden Axe: The Revenge of Death Adder pcb.
How much would I be looking at paying for one of those?

I had mine listed for $250 USD back in Oct. But I ended up trading it away, just before I had a couple people PM me to buy it.

Kinda wish I didn't get rid of it. Great game...
