There's every chance I can do marquees for different cabs, but I'll need some dimensions. If you're willing to measure up your marquee holder so I can make a template, I'm happy to look into it. Just drop me a MP :awe:

I've got templates for all of the repro holders I make. I would be more than happy to measure them up for you if you want?

That would be cool m8, I just need the dimensions of the fitting area for the marquee and then the viewable area (if smaller). For most cabs that is likely to be one and the same, but the original marquee holder on the uni for example has a black border which covers the edges of the marquee.

Just a word of warning, producing marquees for other cabs is only really viable if they are the same size or smaller than those I am already producing. If they are larger then the cost goes up and they also have to be sent in a seperate order, which knocks the tiered discounts from the printers on the head and probably then makes the cost prohibitive.

After playing hardball with the printers today, they have agreed to matt laminate the artwork side of the marquees at no extra charge. This means the finish will be much improved versus prints sprayed with fixative, not to mention more durable.

Brilliant, if I'm honest I was little worried about the fixative reacting with the holder plastic...

Update 20/3/12: Collected the (correctly laminated) marquees from the printers today, the finish on these badboys is awesome, a nice improvement on the unlaminated ones and I'm really pleased with them. Unfortunately I'm working tonight so don't have time to post any photos, will try and get some teaser shots up tomorrow. 8-)

What a build-up :awe:

Waiting to see round one before I commit to any others, but if they're that good I'll be wanting more.

I don't have the original or a scan, so the best I can offer at this stage would be a custom jobby.
