Re: Looking for several PCBs
I paid £800 for it. It was JP and had a few imperfections and repairs on it but still in reasonably good shape. Good luck finding one!ChrisBEANS wrote: ↑October 18th, 2022, 10:40 pmNice!!

Re: Looking for several PCBs
That's a really good price! I paid £670-ish for a mint Japanese one - but that was in like 2018. Seemed like a fortune at the time I've seen mint ones go for £1500+ more recently. Madness!quarkstarmuffin wrote: ↑October 19th, 2022, 7:53 pmI paid £800 for it. It was JP and had a few imperfections and repairs on it but still in reasonably good shape. Chris have been passively looking for one for 15+ years as well ,I have always liked the game but not so much the price it has always commanded ,it just always sat at a price that seemed too much for me, vaguely remember back in the early/ mid 2000's it being around £180 ish and turning it down ! oh hindsight but I suppose £ was strong then against eur so it was like €300 eur which seemed madness ! Altough it has always been on my want list have resigned myself to never getting it.

Added Dragon Breed
Thanks! I wish I had started collecting PCBs when things were still that cheap though! I've been collecting games in general since I was a kid and had wanted to get a Neo Geo cab at some point when I had the room for it, but it never really occurred to get into other arcade stuff until I picked up a consolized MVS + supergun. I still need a bigger house before I can buy any cabs thoughgeotrig wrote: ↑October 20th, 2022, 9:14 am nice get quarkstarmuffin.

Your PCB collection is outstanding, I’m amazed you don’t have any cabs!!
What cabs are you thinking of when you get space??

Re: Looking for several PCBs
Not 100% sure but I was thinking a 4-slot Neo Geo Cab, and maybe a something like a blast city. I'd love to have a racing cab if there were an easy way to swap games out, but it seems like a pretty massive pain from what I can tell.ChrisBEANS wrote: ↑November 16th, 2022, 12:29 am You don’t have any cabs?!?

Re: Looking for several PCBs
Good choices!!
I’ve got two Neo cabs (Christ knows why I thought I needed two, but now I’m so attached to the big one I can’t bring myself to let it go!!), and a Windy II, for the flexibility of tri-sync, just like the Blast.
Right now, the Windy is tate, and in a perfect world it’d be yoko and I’d have a 15kHz cab for tate stuff…
As you say though, space is the premium!
(Sorry to totally derail the thread!!)

I know people with several quality candys and not a single pcb. All filled with misters pandoras and console wierdness. I rather play the original game than feel like i am tbh.ChrisBEANS wrote: ↑November 16th, 2022, 12:29 am
