WTB: SNK SC-25

Post by AteThePrincess »

Looks like I forgot to bump my last thread before it died.

Looking for an SNK SC-25. Happy to ship from anywhere in the world.

If lucky enough to find one in the US I'm happy to trade other uncommon cabs for it, or pay cash.

Have a feeling this is going to get a LOT of bumps.

I'm patient though. Took almost ten years to get my Q25's.

Don't you have any japan importers in your area?

There are several key actors in europe. I bet if you ask one of them to get hold on one of these you'll have it within six months.

I have three within 500 miles and all three have said they can keep an eye out but haven't found one in the few years I've been asking. SC-19 seem easy enough to get hold of, as do Neo19, but I've had no luck with the SC-25.

The SC-25 at least seems to be far more available in Europe, which prompted my posting here to begin with (I forgot posts delete after a while though and it wasn't here to bump when I came back).

If you could point me to some of these key players I'd appreciate it. I'm not as versed in European importers as I am ones here in the US.

The only person I know of in the business across the pond is rklok, but he's never answered any emails I've sent over the years so I've simply stopped trying.

I've shipped single cabs internationally before, and I'm well aware it's an expensive (and perhaps foolish) endeavor, but this is pretty much the last cab I really intend to add to my collection and I'm willing to do what it takes!

Ronnie (rklok) is a big player in Europe but I've never done business with him. He's very active on Facebook, try there. "Ronnie vd Kolk"

User G60hot here is japanorama in the UK. Seem to be doing a lot of business between France/UK. Always have shipments incoming from Japan. https://www.japanarama.co.uk/

User johanmarsta here, lives west of Stockholm is the guy for Scandinavia, I've bought several machines from him. He cleaned out Try amusement tower a few years ago. He's the soul reason Sweden and Scandinavia oozes with japanese candy cabs for the last 10 years.

Lots of 19's have been passing through Yahoo Auctions lately.

I saw, however, I would not know who to entrust for the purchase apart from the usual two names ... if you know someone who buys in Japan do you write to me in Private?

Well, if you have the means, Rinkya and FedEx work very well together. If you're looking for cheaper options like going through usual importers, I fear I don't have a good answer. None of the suggested importers here care to answer my PM's, and the ones I usually deal with who are not here can't find what I'm after yet.
