Hey guys, new to the forums here but a big 3rd strike fan.
I can't buy a cab fully just yet due to my flat being too small... but in the meantime I would like to prepare by getting a 3rd Strike board so when I finally get my cab I already have the game I would like to play
If anyone has a board for sale or knows of anyone selling, I would be very interested!
All the best and thank you
M

Oh amazing thank you!
Does the darksoft board differ at all from a dedicated 3rd strike board gameplay wise? I've been reading up a bit on it but just want to be sure.

Most competitions outside Japan these days use Darksoft setups. There is no discernible difference between a Darksoft modded cart and a genuine cart.
Videotronics is selling his set for a good price IMO. They can sell for more on eBay.

Thanks so much for the reply mate, that's great to know. Looking into superguns now but when I've made up my mind about that I'll probably get a darksoft kit

I bought a CPS3 multi from Videotronics and it works spot on. I play a lot of SF3, I cannot notice any difference. He was super helpful with questions too.

There is no difference, I love 3rd strike but it has to be played on a CRT

Thanks so much for all the replies guys! Super helpful
I'll probably end up getting a darksoft board with a used supergun when one pops up, on a CRT (I guess I need to dive into that world now haha!)
Again, thank you!
