wanted: Jamma to JVS adapter

Postby landisama » August 7th, 2017, 9:00 am

Hi guys,

I am looking for a Jamma to JVS adapter. To be clear, this means that I want to run a Jamma board on a JVS New Net City cabinet.
If somebody has a spare one for sale, please give me a message with the price.
All the best,
Andrei

I got it. Bought on these boards. It plays jamma boards flawlessly on my NNC cab.
Asking 120 euros plus shipping but I won't be able to provide pictures or ship it until august 21th as I'm currently abroad.
Let me know if you're interested :)

Make sure you dont buy the Riverservice one, as it has serious input lag.
Get the Konami or Nsmco one even though they are rate and geting very expensive!

I have both the Namco and Riverservice, no lag on mine.
I think that only affected the first revisions ;)

I didn't notice any lag on mine either..... until I ran the kick harness through it as well.

6 buttons, 3 punches + 3 kicks, no lag whatsoever.

I got a certain interest in this area, as my only cab is a Naomi Universal :)

First I got the riverservice one, and it has some strange issues that pop up - like input not registering/getting stuck. I also got the namco one, which for input is good. It also generates -5V needed for a few games. The cons of the namco is that it distrorts the video a little + it uses a bit of power, which may cause a little voltage drop if you use it with a power hungry PCB.

How did you solve 15khz on a NUC?
I have RS harness, NOT the adapter, works great in my NNC with Tosh PF. Their adapter is ****. Blomman has a nice story about this from HEY ;)
Go for a namco one.
