JVS I/O board, a power supply for the I/O board, joysticks wired to the I/O board, a HDTV.Crooger wrote:As above mentioned , what do i need to play SF IV w/o the vewlix cab?
You're still looking at $12K USD since the game requires minimum two kits for versus play...Crooger wrote:only the board i will buy

Re: cheap-**** Methods SF IV
That's rather strange! does it really need 2 boards for 2 players? or am i assuming it's for versus cabs?
i'm not looking for 2 cabs taped together ( like wii) . a single cab will do

From what I understand, the International version requires two X2 units for versus play. So you're on a Vs. set-up whether you like it or not, it would appear. Capcom and Taito are surely loving this.
You really would be better off with a Playstation 3 or an Xbox 360 and the home port. Considering you've also got Battle Fantasia, KoF XII and BlazBlue out/coming for the PS3, it surely is the best choice. Unless, you like wasting several thousand quid? PM me for my address and I'll help you dispose of it....

so... there's no way to play it like any regular kit, huh? seems to me it takes 2 to tango .
but if i already have "battle fantasia" kit , can i use it for the 2nd player?

In theory yes, but you'd still need a second set of software and it doesn't seem to be sold separately. So you'd most likely still have to buy two complete kits.Crooger wrote:but if i already have "battle fantasia" kit , can i use it for the 2nd player?
