Hi All,
I get power and everything plays fine but the PSU makes a loud grinding noise. I am not certain if it is the fan. If so, is there a drop in fan replacement I could purchase to find out? Or does anyone have a PSU for sell?
Thanks,
Terrella

Re: Capcom Impress PSU issue
Sounds like your fan needs replacement.
I replaced mine with a regular Noctua fan. I think it was a 60mm or 80mm 12V fan, but just check yours for correct size. Nothing fancy about it.
Just cut of the connector on the original fan and solder the black and red cables to the Noctua fan. It doesn’t need the yellow wire.
Not a drop in replacement, but not far from it and a huge improvement over the stock fan.

Definitely was the fan. Changed it out and is a massive difference. Confirmed it was 80mm. I used
80mm DC Fan 12V Computer Fan 80mm 3.15 inch 2 Pin XH 2.5... https://a.co/d/8JHMiAi
Thanks again for the assist.
