Has anyone actually seen one of these in the UK?
I can find plenty of pictures and even YouTube videos of the cabs, but I can’t actually find much info on where they’re from, who made them, or why they’re so different to everything else.
Not saying I want one, necessarily, certainly not any time soon… but one day, maybe, it’d be a fun refurb?

Re: Neo Geo ‘Goldie’??
Never seen one in the wild but these woodies have loads of versions around the world, not made by SNK just licensed to local coin op companies, ours were made by Electrocoin.
I quite like the New Zealand - Aus woodie, there was a guy in Papa New Guinea who had a pair on the Neo forum.

It's an American cab.

Scroll down to MVS-2-19.
I think they're kind of charming in their own quirky way. Not something I would seek out, but still.
This, on the other hand, I regret not buying locally a few years back:

It went for chump change, and it included a Pulstar cart

You mean one of these, @thegreathopper ?
It's how I imagine the **** child of a 'Big Red' and an SNK U4 might look?!
Thanks for the info, @nem and yeah, that upright SCB-U4 looks awesome. Really interesting cab.

Never been a fan of the" 70s, kitchen cabinet style" cabs at all even in neo geo form.nem wrote: ↑July 30th, 2021, 3:11 pm It's an American cab.
