Hello !

This is my first machine of this type so i have a couple of questions that someone hopefully can answer me.
I have included some pics.

1:I have some loose wires under the controlpanel i'm wondering about.1 grouund wire,1 blue and 1 black wire that goes to the middle plug.1 wire from one of the buttons .

2:What kind of tool do i need to remove the back panel of the monitor.

3:Can't seem to find a way to coin up.Trired the microswitch for the cion mech but that didn't work and i can't locate any credit button.

4:I tried to test myvSolar Assault pcb but got no picture.Only sound and a "no signal" message on the monitor.
The previous cabinet i owned only had a standard resolution monitor so i'm not sure why i can't get this to work on this monitor.

All help greatly appreciated :D

1. I'm not 100% where the cables are going to but looks like button connections. Compare with the layout here: https://wiki.arcadeotaku.com/w/Sega_Naomi_Universal

2. It' a torx with a hole in the middle. (Hope it's called like that in english)

3. You can check on Jamma wiring for a credit button and connect one. I've set all my games to free play.

4. Have you checked if it's a trysinc monitor or maybe high res only?

You need a T30 safety torx.

Ground cable (the green one)goes in over the kick harness imput. Hook up to hinge on control panel.
The light blue cabel in your pictures is 2 player start om my harness. Black cable should be ground for 2 player start.
Full pinout available at arcade otaku wiki.

I also use Invzim’s jammafier in my setup.
A tri sync helper could help, but is this the only PCB with issues?
Do you have any other PCB’s you could try?
More info on the tri sync helper here:

Thanks for all your input.
The monitor i have is the Toshiba PF D29C051.
Was really hoping i could use the Solar Assault pcb with this monitor since the pcb requires a medium res monitor to work.
It only shows "no signal" on the screen.

I have tested a couple of other pcb's and they work fine.
