Where can I buy replacement Servostick Sanwa microswitches?

Post by keropi »

Hiya!

it appears the UP microswitch on one of my Servosticks is not working good anymore... is there a place to get a correct (and genuine) replacement? Or maybe someone can recommend better replacements all around that are not hard to push?
This is the type of microswitch used:

thanks in advance for any info/tips! :awe:

edit:
would this work?

Are you sure it's the switch?

If so, it's probably just in need of a clean on the internal contacts. The two halves of the switch separate along the seam, which will allow you to clean the inside. A small flat blade will allow you to {carefully] prise it open.

ah thanks I thought the switches were pressed/glued
yes it's the switch, you need to apply pressure for it to activate typical button failure IMHO

any comment on those cherry switches?

Have you checked at ultimarc to see if there are any there? If not the owner(Andy?) replies on another forum, I think byoc.

Also I found swapping to an ultrastik with the physical servo worked much more precise on 4 way games.

I had no idea Sanwa made their own switches.

The original microswitch used in the Japanese JLW (which the stick you have is based on) has been discontinued. The replacement is this one:
