Hey chaps,
I'm getting an Egret 2 and a New Astro City in about two weeks. I'm going to be putting two 100V sockets on the wall fed from a step-down transformer in the garage.
Obviously degaussing draws **** loads compared to standard use. Are they both purely manual degaussers or do they auto-degauss when they turn on?
What kind of transformer rating should I be looking for? Would 1kVA suffice?
Ta very mooch,
Chuggers

I use a 500w for the egret2 running a Naomi gd system and an Aerocity with no problems.
