Coin mech adjustment for a range of coins?

Post by cools »

Anyone know if this is feasible with a mechanical mech? Hoping to be able to get my mechs to accept a variety of sizes - from something small up to whatever the max will fit through the slot underneath.

I suspect not, because the wire trigger is set in a way that would make smaller coins random credit.

So far I'm failing.

Ah yes of course. It takes a lot of finagling but you can tweak for the thickness of coins and the weight. Don't let the size stated on the tin limit you.
Did it to my coin mechs to accept 20 euro cents.
Main thing would be the weighting usually, but you can tweak that too, by removing or adding the counterweight.
