Capcom Mini Cute Tubular Lock question

Bought a couple of replacement tubular locks for my MiniCute. They fit the holes perfectly but, when I actually looked at the mechanism, I realise that a standard tubular lock doesn't have the right shape bar to actually hold the front door shut (see below). It looks like it needs a dog leg-shaped bar, or something, to hook over the slot. Could someone who owns a MC possibly upload a pic of their lock, so I know what I need to buy? any help v gratefully received!

Here it is, the latch is oval shaped, with with an angular notch.
