Sega Cabinets Screw types
I have this Astro City that has a bit of a miss mash of different screw types, and mission bit here an there, and I was hoping to replace all of them with the correct ones. So the manuals for these are really good at telling you which screw go where and what they are, the manual uses allot of short forms some are easy to read, but I'm having a bit of trouble deciphering these ones.
M SCR PH W/FS
M SCR PH W/S
TAP SCR TH
I think that M is Machine, and I know that SCR is Screw, TAP is a Tap, and PH is Pan Head, it's the other ones I don't know, and can't figure out.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Sega Cabinets Screw types
I've been looking around, and I believe that I have found a plausible answer for some of them
M SCR PH W/FS
Is Machine(M) Screw(SCR) PanHead(PH) Washer(W)/Flat(F)Split(S)
This would be the type that is a machine screw with a Flat Washer and a Split Washer crimped in, so that it doesn't come apart.
M SCR PH W/S
This one would be the same, other than it's just a Washer with out the Split Washer.
Still trying to figure out the TH of TAP SCR TH.

Re: Sega Cabinets Screw types
Wish that was it, the only torx screws used are the security type and they are marked as TMP PRF SCR.
Thank you putting in a suggestion.

Re: Sega Cabinets Screw types
Where are the TAP SCR TH screws used? I have three untouched Astro City cabs. I can check mine.

Re: Sega Cabinets Screw types
Thank you for the offer. There are a couple places, most of them are under the control panel, the screws that hold down the bracket where the control panel harness is plugged into. Also near by, the coin chute has two of them. There are also 5 of them holding the hinge or the control panel, not the 4 on the other side of that same hinge, these are a different type.

Re: Sega Cabinets Screw types
Great thread! (pun intended)
Trying to figure out:
1. what screws attach the PSU to the bottom
2. what screw attach the chassi board to the cradle (cage)
Reading the manual but I just can't find it. Anyone?

Re: Sega Cabinets Screw types
Found the screw for PSU in the schematic at least. M4x8.
....and my hardware store only has M4x6 and M4x10.
