Looks like you are putting a 31k signal into a 15k monitor. Check Dip switch 1

It’s a vs city

I have tried the dips?
That’s what is doing head in

It is the early a revision on a normal cart
Normal Naomi motherboard came together
From a working dx cab that had a broken
Projector,

I have a 31khz set up to try it on next
This is going through capcom jvs to jamma
Set to 15khz on dip1

So it got me thinking maybe just ain’t compatible?
I changed Naomi filter board same thing!

So maybe mother board issue
Or it just is not 15khz compatible?

The hardware part is ruled out (later revisions would run these games with major gfx glitches). You also need to run this game on a 837-13551-92 JVS I/O board type 1. Are you the original owner of the DX Hotd2? That Capcom JVS to JAMMA board isn't compatible with games like this.

P.S. A "broken" projector means the cabinet doesn't work. You could say the motherboard, I/O components, sound and guns work fine however.

Ok cool, so i have all the guts
Gun I/o
Guns etc...

Bezel Frame with sensors

But I do not know how to reconnect
Everything!

So when I’m back
I was thinking I could do a thread

With photographing all the
stuff and begin
Reconnecting all together

As I require help to put it back
Together but In to a standerd Naomi
Cab ..

Also I have the NetBoot set up
So Im thinking could get the other
Gun compatible games on Naomi.
Atomiswave to run also ?

Impossible to run most games on an early revision Naomi motherboard (I think only compatible with Hotd2). Even with hacking, it isn't encouraged. I asked if you are the original owner of the DX Hotd2 because I hope a restoration of that cab is possible (using an LCD like projector instead of a widescreen tv). I suggest going for that route instead and save the multi for when you get a common Naomi 1/2 motherboard.

Not even close to the best maintenance job imo. Wish you did something about that projector. You probably weren't aware Hotd2 ran on an earlier Naomi motherboard only meant to run said game at the time you took the guts out of the cab. I don't know what else to say.

You can however use the JVS I/O board and IC Gun Sense board on those regular Naomi motherboards running later Sega Type II IR gun games.

I did not have the space,
Simply,
I could not fit it into my life,
It was difficult for me to say goodbye
To the original cab,

I have taken the cab to a friend.

I keeped all the internals electronic,

For me!

To put into a cab Naomi normal,

I do know about the Naomi and hotd2
Early revision cart.
This is why I am very happy to have plus
I love the game,
I enjoyed the game very on Dreamcast,
Japanese when first arrived on Dreamcast
And now I want the original to work for me
As a dream on original hardware and guns
I’m all about preservation,
But I want this game to play,
However I do enjoy the extras on Dreamcast
I wish they were in the arcade vertion
As the mini games in Dreamcast are great,

I used to run HOTD2 on a normal Naomi board with the red blood bios although that was many moons ago, I also had Maze of the Kings, Death Crimson OX, Confidential Mission & Lupin the Shooting.

Some early versions of the game came in a caged Naomi board similar to the model 3 boards.

Yeh most came in cage it’s tge Naomi
Vertion with cart this is the first revision
I think?

I’m hoping that the Symtom I’m getting
On screen is to do with my set up
And not the mother board’
As the mother board is unique for the hotd2
Not just the bios,

I need to get back from holiday and connect
To 31kz to rule out,
Mother board fault,

I changed front filter board with known workers I have and displays same,
Through capcom jvs to jamma
And Sega jvs to jamma
But I have know been told
That it needs Sega jvs to jamma rev. A

So I need to test this also

Thanks for any help
