Domy Jr Speaker Replacement

One of my speakers has crapped out so I need a suitable replacement pair.

They're 100mm square with a 90mm cone but most crucially the bolts are 83mm apart. Hopefully there's something out there that will save me modifying the grilles or wiring?

Visaton are great speakers (i use them on Bally, Williams Pins to upgrade sound section)!

Probably but one of the spade terminals is bigger than the other (2.8mm and 4.8mm). They appear to be both 2.8mm on the stock one.

Yeah, they are 4.8mm tabs, but I clip them in half with side-cutters to make 2x2.4mm tabs, which fit on my 2.8mm plugs with no problem. And they are cheap.

It's cheap because it's ****. The kind of low quality speaker you can get in any electronic shop. And it's unshielded and since the stock one is also unshielded I say it's time to upgrade to shielded ones (as in Mastercello's link).

The only problem with good speakers in a cab is that you can hear how crap the sound quality is from some PCBs.

You could just crimp a male to female adapter cable for the other terminal (or indeed snip it with wire cutters).

I bought Visaton speakers for my Astros. Honestly, it sounds as bad as it did before Regular jamma audio just sounds poor, there's no getting around the fact.
