Does anybody have the details for the Astro City Monitor Pinout? (Apologies if this is in the wrong section, I initially thought to put it in the Monitor forum, but since this is specific for the Astro City, I posted here)
I currently have a Sega PM1745 chassis in my Astro city and I've been given a Toshiba Tube and MS9 chassis that has been sent to Jomac for repair, unfortunately, the connections on the MS9 do not match the 15 pin TE AMP UP connection of the Astro City.
I'm planning on making my own connector so I can plug directly to the Astro City.
Has anybody done this before?
TIA.

On the MS9 if you look at the screen as you would be using it, the connections are on the left hand side near the back mounted on a plate. Im sure the pinout is even printed on the plate

Is it necessary to install a grounding wire to the chassis, which connects to the rest of the grounding wires inside the cabinet, yes or no?

It is always best practice to, and can also stop some interference in the video signal

No, it's not necessary. The monitors in Sega cabs are intended to be left ungrounded. Grounding the monitor can result in interference, not the other way around. At least from my experience.
