Any cashier for a Pony?
I'm wondering about this cashier (from my pony18) since I'm looking for the original one, at least a japanese one.
The long slide/luge is certainly original, but I'm really asking myself about the rest.
On the sticker it's written ''Ptas'' (certainly Pesetas)... Perhaps a Latino cashier.
The sticker bigger (same but Fr ''swiss francs'' was stickered on the Ptas version)
I saw a pony with this cashier before. Perhaps N500 was the cashier manufacture for Jaleco at the time (or Asahi, I don't know..)
Anyway, I found those last ones on Yahoo, but I found some brand new there:
https://www.asahiseiko.com/product/139/
Would any one of those fit to me?

Re: Any cashier for a Pony?
The name of this part is certainly not ''cashier''. Anyway, it seems not
Btw, mine seems to be modded. Some parts are originals (the back side, the slide/luge and the 2pins connector RU part), some not (the whole front side).
Here is a japanese ''N500 - Maka'' (the one owned by normens on this forum)
I'm now wondering if this other model of ''N500'' would fit. The 2pin RU part connector is missing. Perhaps can be added easely:

Re: Any cashier for a Pony?
The part is known as a 'coin mech' (mech short for mechanism) in English.
What makes you think it's not OEM? Coin mechs can be adjusted to take all different shapes, sizes and weights of coin. It would be far easier to adjust than add a new mech and then fabricate it in to the machine.

''Coin mech''
OK, thanks Yosai
I feel it's not OEM because some parts of this cab wasen't original as basis when I get it. The last owner already changed/took off some parts on it, and there isn't any manufacture inscription on this coin mech, zero references, and some parts on it looks to have been twisted.

Re: Any cashier for a Pony?
I own 2 aero city and 2 astro city and 3 of 4 cabs had N500 coin mechs but made by CONLUX.
I believe they are original as they are japanese and usually coin mechs this side of the world use to be Industrias Lorenzo or chinese generic mechs.
I use those CONLUX N500 adjusted to 100 yen coins and sega/capcom tokens. I don't think you should stress too much about the coin mechs, but it is my humble opinion.

Re: Any cashier for a Pony?
I finally get it. I found the good one in a used parts box by last owners place. As you can see, this Asahi AD86-E has the correct size, and the luge is fitting.
I found a small box with it, but I don't know for what it is:
Btw, since AD86-E fits, I would like to buy this one which have same dimensions. Do you know how to get it?
p.s. the one sold by seimitsu is black, but I want this grey:

Re: Any cashier for a Pony?
It doesn't matter, you can put an asahi ad81p 100 yen mechanism in there. Mine originally had a quarter mech inside, if you want 100 yen I recommend the ad81p.
