What kind of neon is this?

Ho do I remove it? Everything is soldered together.
Do I remove the soldering and then solder a new one back in place?
I've tried to Google this kind of neon (made by Leuci) but I've found none.

Help

What kind of voltage does it require? Possibly desolder, and wire up a (new) replacement fixture and standard LED?

It's from an Italian woody so it's 220.
I've thought about desoldering it but where do I find a replacement one? I have no clue about its name so Goggle can't help...

What I'm saying is desolder the two wires from it, and wire the existing wires to a new fixture. Something like this (just a random example):

But maybe you're looking to keep it all original, in which case that suggestion doesn't help, but I'm just spit ballin' here. 8-)

Yup, I got what you mean and I don't mind changing the neon but don't I need one with those 2 "things" on top where wires are soldered right now?

Not sure what you mean, but when I replaced the fixture and light in my capcom big blue, I just cut the plug off the end of the new fixture's cord, and butt connected the existing cabinet wiring to the new fixture wiring. Looking at your pictures, it should be the same process. If you want, yes make the splice a soldered connetion for more longevity.

If I'm not understanding your question, please mark up a picture or something to illustrate it further.

I just mean that neons I find browsing the internet all have those 2 pins per side while this has those 2 things where wires are soldered so they are just different.
So, if I get one like, for example, this one:

and desolder the older one, then where do I solder the wires again on the new neon? On the pins?

I've seen tubes like that used in (old) industrial electrical enclosures.
The socket is called S14s and you can still find tubes https://www.amazon.it/S14s-35w/s?ie=UTF ... S14s%2035w

THAT is the stuff I was looking for!
Thanks! I'll desolder/solder again and it should work! :awe:

Ha, great find, Zebius!

I was advocating a replacement fixture and tube. The two prongs at the end of the tube slide into the fixture. You would wire the existing cab wiring to the fixtures power cord (a standard wall plug power cord, and just cut the end off).

But, it sounds like the above is a better apples-to-apples solution. :thumbupright:
