AMP connector versions

Post by zumbito »

I was about to order some amp connectors and realized they sell the same connector several times, with a number in the end that seems to indicate the version for example for the female pins I can order 175151-1, -2, -4, and -5. In the wiki there is no reference to this last number. Does any one know what does it mean, or if I should purchase a specific one?

Good question! I was wondering about this myself just recently.

-1 and -4 are made from copper alloy, -2 and -5 are brass.

What's the difference between -1 and -4? NO IDEA.

I just bought the ones that were cheaper.

Thank! I guess there is no big difference then. Cheapest it is!
