NAC bulb?

Post by Ex_Mosquito »

Sorry if this has been posted already, but what type bulb replacement would I need for a NAC? My existing one fell out inside the cab and smashed into 986pieces when I jolted it as I was lifting it over the patiodoor threshold to have a new carpet fitted :/

Cheers, Mark.

It's a FL15D bulb.

was you're old one working before? If not, you might also want to pick up a new starter too. FG-1E is the starter lamp

you can use any tube that will fit
they are not voltage dependant
the starter is and must be 100V but the tubes are universal :awe:

Hi Mark,

B&Q is the easiest way to get a tube, but not the cheapest!

If you want a starter, PM me your snail mail details and I'll send you one.

Cheers,

Ralph.

I didn't realise any tube (that fits) will work - that's good to know.
Does the NAC use screw-in starters or the normal, 2-prong twisty ones?

Didn't know the tubes were universal, good to know.
The other thing to watch out for is the colour of white as it might be too bright.

I had an issue with the ballast interfering with the monitor, so switched to a 240v instead of 100V

Thanks a lot for your help guys! I picked one up earlier from the ref number mann0mann kindly gave me and I put it in when I got home and it's working fine.

Aerocitymayor: Thanks for the offer of a 100v starter, luckily it was fine so won't be needed. Massive thanks.
