Thats veeerrrry sad
If there is any chance to safe them, please do it! Anyone??
I saw a few pictures like that in the last weeks. Couldn´t someone just drive through Japan, talk to those "owners" take those cabs and ship them to Europe??
Please, someone has to do this! All those beautifull cabs can´t just die there.
This breaks my heart.

Re: Abandoned cabs, Japan (name that cab)
Shame, but interesting photos non the less.
I remember finding quite a few photos of abandoned/ trashed candy cabs and Japanese game centers a few years ago. It was when I'd just got my SC19-4 and was looking for info, I initially stumbled across a few photos of a pair of dumped/ trashed sc19s. I found the pics interesting so dug a little further and was quite surprised by how much I found, wish I had saved the photos now.
Does anyone remember the pic of that Aero that was doing the rounds, it had been dumped on the pavement and looked like it had been hit by a car, totally mangled.

Re: Abandoned cabs, Japan (name that cab)
The pics came from a Japanese site that photographs abandoned buildings and villages. There were many more behind the tree-line. From what I gather, the business went bust / bankrupt but what's strange is that they were never sold on or taken back to the vendor they rented them from. Quite unusual to see so many just left to rot. Considering this is in Hokkaido, I'm amazed they weren't picked up by enthusiatsts.
