Sega 605-0028 looms

Post by Stompp »

Anybody what these are for? Same part number as the JAMMA/JAMMA+ Adapter on the wiki (http://wiki.arcadeotaku.com/w/Sega_2L12B_Adapter) but this looks different.

That just looks like an extension for the 1P/2P/extra CP looms doesn't it?

Edit: I'd trace each wire and see if any aren't mapped 1:1

Sure looks like that. They're deep in the storage so I tried to check them up by Google-fu. Ended up confused since the part# is the same as in the wiki for the adapter. Looks like the part# on the wiki is wrong then (or mine are labeled wrongly).

That's highly possible. Gotta dig them out from the storage and check :)

I know the NNC comes with a NOA-60853 loom to change the pinout of the 10 pin extra button loom from Astro/Blast>Naomi/NNC. I'm not sure what the 12pin ones would be for though as the 12pin pinouts are the same AFAIK

They relay button 4 and 5 from the kick to jamma, since most panels miss those wires.
I have a cpl of them which Im pretty sure is from same source as yours ;)

Edit: they also keep button 6 on the kick so it's compatible with the sega jvs/jamma IO
