Well, my Cyberlead was working just fine until now. On 1P side, the joystick is always pressing left,
and if I press down I hear a popping on the speakers. This is regardless of whether I am using JVS directly (e.g. Naomi)
or using the JVS to JAMMA converter, and even if I disconnect the wiring to the 1P control side, the I/O board
is still registering left as being pressed. Is my I/O board toast? I'm thinking of just wiring the controls directly from
the JVS to JAMMA converter to bypass the I/O board entirely, although that means I can't use JVS boards directly.
Anyone have any experience with something like this?

If you want a new io try Mo at videotronics, he did have some cyber lead spares. I'd send him a pic of one and ask if he has one.

Re: Cyberlead I/O board stuck input
I have a box of Cyber Lead gubbins, and I'm pretty sure I've got an I/O board.
Let me know if you're interested (although I have absolutely no idea of value, but I'm sure we can reach an agreement).

Sent you a PM. It's the board labeled as "I/O LED (I/O) PCB".
Looks like this:

Re: Cyberlead I/O board stuck input
Nevermind, I fixed it by removing the 10-pin connector on the JVS to JAMMA I/O board.
What is that connector for, anyway?

Re: Cyberlead I/O board stuck input
It carries extra button inputs as well as data for the LED display on games which support it (mostly Namco boards, obviously).
