Sega Aero City Power Questions

Post by trev1976 »

Hi

Could anyone please explain what the parts in the photo actually do ? im curious , the owner before me had converted it to run with a Airlink JA500 which is great but i cant stand the look of those red crimps and want to tidy the wiring up a bit im thinking of tidying it up with a terminal block or does anyone have any better suggestions ? also could anyone tell me the wire size i would need to replace the red, black, blue and brown wires in the left and are white plastic wire joiners available to buy anywhere ?

Image

Thanks :D

Left is a power filter I believe, right is a fusebox/block.

You could simply remove the snow caps and solder the wires back together and call it day. Otherwise, a shop like Maplins or something (in the UK) should stock the proper connectors.

Those were originally a single wire, no other connectors, before the splices were added with the snow caps.
