What's the dimensions of the cab compared to the dimensions of the door?

If only a few millimetres you could lubricate it and force it through?

I don't know where to begin with taking it to bits i'm afraid.

Can you post pictures and maybe go from there?

We have a copy of the manual on our wiki.
http://wiki.arcadeotaku.com/w/Sega_Super_Megalo_2"
Hopefully that has enough info for you to disassemble it correctly and get it inside. Good luck, it's an awesome cab to have.

There isn't one. It works fine for me, even while logged out of the wiki/forum.

I would advocate removing the door and door frame first. That is easy to repair. Taking a buzz saw to a cab is impossible to repair.

Originally i did the same to get my Megalo into my house, then i had to drill in out in the kitchen.

Basically to get it in all the plastics need to be removed, shelf dewelded, and rivets taken out of the base.

Then the top goes thru a door sideways and the bottom can be used as a skate board till you put it back together.

I seem to be the only one online that has completely torn apart one of these systems and heavily modified then put back together.

I could of mounted a screen to the megalo like some but thats a **** idea. Anyone whos ever played a fighter knows that the machine ends up half way across the room after a battle.
The screen would be shaking all over the place!

Keep it simple. Gut the entire cab, keep nothing bar the transformer and the speakers and amp unless you have new speakers then gut everything.

Buy/make and install a 1 supergun.
Buy/instal 1 ipac. Now you can play pc ie mame
Hack 2 ps2 pads into the system. now you can play ps2 and ps1
Buy 2 ps2 to ps3/xbox360 adpaters. Now you can play xbox360 and ps3.
Buy 2 gamecube to ps2 adapters, now you can play gc or wii

Done.

Ask yourself is it worth all the hassle... Maybe its best to sell on and get/swap for something smaller and easier to get in?

I wanted a Ridge Racer cab in the house and that would never fit so I got rid :(

I think to help ypu, you need to help us and get some pictures of the cabs (good ones) and where you can see it could be taken apart. Id suggest you take as much as you can off it using normal toold and then go from there. Its not going to just glide through the door easy with everthing attached. I have to totally dismantle an Astro City just to get it through my door and that only just fits!

Demolish the house, build a new one around the cab.
