I'm looking at getting one of these this weekend, if thngs work out. I have several other candies, but this will be my first MVS. As soon as my daughter saw the picture, she said, "Ooh, you should buy that Dad!". Ok sweetie, no problem! :awe:

So, has anybody put brand spanking new stickers on their cab yet? If so we desperately need pictures.

Awesome, probably going to pick this up. I wish there was the same product for a pre-printed CPO, I don't know how to get one printed properly (and to be honest I find that kind of thing incredibly boring and don't care to find out). EASY PLEASE! 8-)

OMG, so I've been like 2 months without my MVSU4 because I moved to a new apartment, and didn't have the manpower until yesterday to move my arcade cabs. So now it's at my new place, I'm so stoked!

I really want to get a small bench for two people to play on, do any of you guys do this? If so, what are the dimensions? If you use stools, what height do you use?

Need to rewire the entire harness though, I have a sound problem I am trying to track down. The connector looks shoddy and the wiring is not great, it will eliminate that problem... I re-capped the sound section of my MVS4 slot, so not sure what the deal is.

Dude thank you so much for that link to the stickers above. I wonder if they are cut or you have to cut them yourself? Either way, perfect thread as I just found one of these amazing cabs and it should arrive this month! Not the best of shape but like a post earlier said it's all part of the character. Main thing is the screen is meant to be perfect! Will keep you posted. Any luck with ordering stickers from the link above?

All stock Seimitsu parts.
LS-32's for the sticks (NOT -01's) with red balltops
PS-14-G's (snap-in 30mm) for the action buttons (red A, yellow B, green C, blue D)
PS-14-D's (snap-in 24mm) for the start/select buttons (red P1 start, yellow select game, blue 2P start)

I ordered my parts from Akihabarashop.jp but recent reports indicate they've been rather slow filling orders as of late...

Congrats! :awe: Such a cool little cab with a beautiful monitor. I love mine.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANKKKKK YOUUUUU!!!! 8-)

Can't wait. Also ordering Jensens custom to fix the stickers on the side. Will post pics when its all sorted. I came out of the jamma game, but now im back. Just want to set it up with Slug 3, KOF98, Dodgeball and maybe windjammers :D

Fingers crossed it arrives ok as im NOT technical and shouldnt really be getting involved in this stuff :S The thought of a screen or electrical issue makes me crap my pants tbh but the reward is worth it, reading this thread. Thanks for all your info its been priceless to me.

Hello Slugflyer, hope your keeping well. :D

Great to see your getting back into the Jamma game. :awe:

I usually get my buttons from Gremlin solutions/Arcade World, a bit pricey but great service.

Is that for the smaller start select buttons too?

Can't make it out from this pic - im thinking it's also black around the button.

EDIT: Went with all black around the colours, even for smaller buttons. Total came to £68.

Alright! An update!

I got my cab, needs a clean but the monitor is great! The footrest is a bit dented though :( It's all good, apparently it belonged to someone from AO??!

You'll recognise it maybe from the footrest area.

Will post some pics up soon, have a couple of questions etc too!

1) When I got it, the 'select game' button where you cycle through the carts was working on free play. I hit the test screen and since then I HAVE TO put a coin in / test coin to get to cycle through the games, anyone had this? (i can only cycle when the 30 second timer is on screen).

2) Can the Halaogen bulb be purchased anywhere here in the UK? Anyone have a link to anywhere with it/the model number? May need to replace that soon to get a brighter glow.

3) Where on EARTH does one get Japanese yen coins?! I need a crap load! ^_^

4) THIS.THING.IS.HEAVY. Just saying. WOW. But so so worth it - best cab i've EVER owned. It's incredible. It really is. Was setup with white buttons and have since returned to the original (purchased a new set) thanks to the link above, they came in one day!

5) It's a long shot, but if the monitor ever did conk out, anyone had any luck repairing or sourcing a replacement for these?

6) I heard I can't just plug in a jamma game. I have a midway 2 on 2 open ice, and want to also get a wwf arcade game (midway) board too... Any links to the adaptor I need to use a jamma board?

Oh dear, i'm back on AO now! :)

Digital isn't QUITE the same. SLG300 or not. It's all good in its own way tbh. This is just SO pure.

LOVELY CABS GUYS!!!

Roughly how many you guys reckon are in the UK? 8-) 8-) 8-)

There is an option in the testmenu that lets you cycle the games without credits which you prolly changed by accident.

You can get the adapter from jammaboards.com

And yes you got the buttons right, all buttons should have black surronds
