OK BABY rotating problem
I just got myself an OK baby cabinet and the screen in it is rotated to the right which results CAVE games showing upside down. I have Hantarex Polo chassis is it possible to change the settings in it so the monitor would show the game right way?

Re: OK BABY rotating problem
If you take the monitor and frame out of the cab you'll notice that the chassis holder can be mounted using two sets of holes, one of which are offset. When offset the monitor will be able to rotate the other way.

Your way would work fine but it would mean messing around with the chassis connections every time you rotated it.

Re: OK BABY rotating problem
He purchased the cabinet from me. The original monitor had broken because the neckbone got cracked. I replaced the monitor with Hantarex Polo 28" (220V chassis). OK Baby only rotates to right and CAVE games require to rotate the monitor to left and there is no option is test menu to flip it. So he needs to mess with the yoke stuff, I never played shmups on this cab just typical "normal games So if he takes pictures of chassis will you be able to pinpoint the location of the yokes?kernow wrote:You need to flip the yoke connectors connecting the tube to the chassis in order for the cave stuff to display the correct way. There should be two plugs, one for horizontal orientation and one for vertical. Sometimes they can be joined together as one plug with a separate adaptor thing on the end. Can you take any pics of the chassis? I think it's a wei-ya trisync in those by default.
edit: ignore me! I didn't see you meant physical rotation!
Physical fitting is impossible as the monitor CANNOT be rotated to the left side. and screwing it off the frame would be overkill if just few cables can be switched.

I can confirm this as an issue. You have to remove the frame and remount. Only way.

Yes I got it thank you! Is it usual with Fedex that they just drop the package to your home and no signings required if you are not present when they arrive?Mokum wrote:I assume you've got my Mushi-baby?
Will have to see how hard it will be to get this baby working the way I want it.

Re: OK BABY rotating problem
This link should help in general terms: http://arcadecontrols.com/BBBB/yoke.html"
Either your yoke cable is a single connector, or dual ones. If they are already split, just rotate the adequate pairs as described in the link. If it is a single one, teh chassis might have two sockets for it, one inverted and one normal. if it doesn't, you'll have to cut the connector in half.
You can also install a couple of switches, with minimum soldering, and use those to flip each one without dealing with the yoke again.
