Hi FRanco, all DWGs are fine now. I have tried to apply the pitch you propossed for the bolts (84.5x40.4), but just found the lower right side almost overlaps with the first botton in the second line for P1 ina a 2player six button panel. How do you work this around?
install the plates vertically. works great

Thankyou so much FrancoB, you're my hero!!! I'm restoring a Naomi universal cabinet and i want to change the panel from 2 players with 3 buttons each to 6 buttons per players!

You're most welcome
I'm just finishing modelling up a Vewlix 2L12B panel actually, once it's finished I'll upload it too.

Do you also know the thickness and the material of the original naomi panel?

I'm afraid I don't have any orginal Naomi panels any more. The only Sega shape panel I have left is a Bishi Bashi panel and this is far thicker than a standard Naomi panel. Maybe someone else will be able to measure one for you.
Added:
VEWLIX CONTROL PANELS
Modelled from a E3102171A 2L14B panel kindly donated by Derick2k
Vewlix_2l14B.dxf
Standard 2L14B panel for use with E3018350A joystick brackets.
Vewlix_Mounting_Plate_E3018350A.dxf
E3018350A joystick brackets for use with E3102171A panels.
Vewlix_2L14B_V2.dxf
Identical to the E3102171A but with a stud arrangement to a range of joysticks:
Seimitsu SE - Fits: LS-32/LS-32-01, LS-34/LS-34-01, LS-40/LS-40-01.
Seimitsu SE-P40 - Fits: LS-55/LS-55-01, LS-56/LS-56-01, LS-58/LS-58-01 and LS-60
Sanwa
JLF-P-1 for the
JLF
Mounting studs for the joysticks have increased to take into account the ~7mm spacers you'll need to use to achieve the correct joystick height.
I've taken as much care as possible to ensure all dimensions are correct and I've printed multiple scaled .dxfs off to confirm accuracy. I'm as confident as I can be without actually getting a panel cut and offering up overlays etc. I would appreciate feedback from anyone who gets one cut so I can update the model if required.
All Vewlix files are available [
here].
I'll be adding some custom Vewlix control panel .dxfs once I've finished designing them.

A few guys have asked me about the Sega Aero City control panel file, so here it is:

If possible, FrancoB could add it to his collections.
Enjoy

Going to get a batch of the vewlix V2 made. Has anyone else made any using the file and do Taito's overlays fit?
Also measuring my panels they are 1.5mm thick + overlay giving almost 2mm total thickness.

Had a batch of the vewlix ones made and they're slightly too wide.
Bolts are in correct locations but panel could do with 1mm taking off each end.
They don't fit a chewlix at current width - bolts line up ok but they don't fit into recess as 2-3mm too wide.
I've confirmed by measuring against my F panels.

Thanks for the feedback. I've not had any made myself but I thought Derick had, I'll check with him too to see if he had issues.
Can you align the ends of the one of the repro panels and your F panel and then use a steel rule to measure the extra length of the repro panel at the other end? I can then update the models.

Awesome work with the panels! Really appreciate it!
Is there any DIY way to install the bolts ? I'm having a hard time finding a metal workshop here who can install these. The guy who laser-cutted my 2L12B panel said he didn't have the gear to do so.

I'm in the process of finding another workshop so I can have the job completed from the start.
Plasma welding then it is ...
Thanks

Self clinching studs are way cheaper.

Is there a hand tool for those ? You still need a lot of pressure to install them.

Does anyone have a Monkey Ball panel hole template? I'm gonna need to get some blank panels sans art made for the next phase.
I'm working on a full repro attempt... I've got the banana almost done, needs some fine tuning.
