Question about Naomi Universal cabinets running driving game

There should be a "s" at the end of game, but I didn't have enough room in the subject.

Anyway, I was wondering if it's possible to remove all the driving controls on a Naomi Universal cabinet and convert into it a standard one.

and stripping it down to put a standard sega control panel on it.

Although I don't own that cab or one similar to it, I mainly curious if anyone has ever done that before.

Yo can but for the cost of a Naomi Uni as std, its not a money saving idea/

You need thecp surround, and CP. Wiring loom fom sticks/buttons and (im not sure here) maybe a different I/O board.

Monitor surround, monitor, base, legs, rear cover etc should all be the same as a std Uni.

agreed, technically its possible but the parts are quite pricey, assuming you can get them. best option buy a naomi with gun set up give me all the gubbings guns i/o board etc and i will give you the kit for a 2 player set up or sell of the wheel, pedals, game and use this to fund your new control panel. or just buy a good condition naomi with joysticks. these are great cabs you wont regret buying 1 they are so flexible. cheers.
