Tetris Plus

Post by Wurstkopp »

Playing normal Tetris (not puzzle mode). Wasn't a bad player on the Gameboy, want to know if I suck at this one:

This seems like an appropriate place to post to avoid getting pruned again. :p

256,200 points first go at it. It is a lot harder than Tetris Plus GB! The top gravity in GB is 1/2 G I think as opposed to 1G here, and the lock delay is rather short in this one as well. It should be a nice challenge to max it out. I had only played Tetris Plus ARC's Puzzle mode. I like it, I think I need to stop procrastinating on getting a board. It felt like input lag was killing it, haha.

328,700. This game has some really weird thing going on where it feels like it is buffering things I press and generally futzing with my inputs.

EDIT: Inputs sometimes buffer if they're pressed during line clear delay... and we're not talking convenient, useful, TGM Initial Rotation System type buffering. We're talking "**** up your finesse because you accidentally buffered some inputs."

If scores from the Gameboy version count, I played a game 6 years back that was worth over 400K IIRC. I could take a picture of that :-P

The arcade one is way harder, but I think it might be somewhat similar if you turn the DIP switch for difficulty to Easy.

I maxed Tetris Plus GB. I can't remember in how many lines, though.

Holy macaroni, 328,700! :wtf:

I couldn't beat your score nor my own score but I played level 28 today :) . It's really **** fast .

I'm playing on normal mode btw.

AND: Though the MS32 is one of my first systems I own, I somehow managed it to put in the cartridge the wrong way and have to deal with really annoying graphic problems since. So I'm actually playing hard mode... ;)

This game has some horrifying input bugs, but apparently that won't stop a near max-out!

Little late to the party.
These are some insane scores...
I've got this game last month and played on weekends.
So far: 126.600 pts

Also, didn't knew about the " clear the whole field" thing. That will make the game even more interesting :)
