Not so much as a score update but I managed to chain over 500...
I reckon if I played it more than once every two weeks scores could improve.

Scores are on the up... Slowly.
JPJs score is still three time all of the other scores combined.
Edit, added another 4mill.

Good stuff man, get some scores in!!
I've been playing a couple of hours this afternoon and can consistently no miss right up to the end of stage 3. It then goes to ****.
I patched my PCB ROM with the BL+ code from
austere , those numbers in the corner are a real bad distraction.

What makes it better, in your opinion?
I can't really decide.

True that.
I find that if I'm playing BL, and playing well, the hypers almost rain down the screen. Hypering (?) at the start of a boss fight is also more fun in BL.

I know, I did indeed laugh my **** off.
If only I hadn't missed the bloody 2nd loop screen (I was running around the room shouting and punching the air, and spotted it with 1 second on the countdown. doh
)
I might try to get into the 2nd loop, but I won't clear it.

Any of you guys play on iOS? I play there for the worldwide leaderboards. I'm still on the lookout for the right cab to put DOJ in. I'm in the top 10 on 4/6 leader boards. EXY players are more competitive. I can get in the 300mil range now, but so far I've never chained stage 5 through for score though I've done it for practicing.
