Korszca tells me it's Bolt / Nail.
And I think by the tone of voice he's a bit disappointed I didn't know that

Re: Progear (CPS2)
Nice, a thread where I'm not three spots off the bottom for a change.
Skykid - 14,786,130 - 1-5 - Ring - Nail
Spadgy beat my score on this a little while ago, which means I need to pick it up again and go for 17mil or bust.

(I wish )
I copy pasted from shmups and somehow dropped my table ranking in there. Fixed now, thanks mt8.

Re: Progear (CPS2)
Played some of this yesterday, fired it up this morning and got what I thought was quite a respectable score.
Bottom of the table.

Re: Progear (CPS2)
And you still managed to score a lot higher than me.
My runs are purely survival, the moment I try and score it gets nasty.

Re: Progear (CPS2)
Is playing Progear for score supposed to make you want to put a baseball bat through the monitor?
Stage 4, Ring/Nail, 8,535,390 (JPN version)
This game is king of cheese deaths.

Re: Progear (CPS2)
ASU 8,532,250: Stage 3 ring/nail basic setup. The game gets too hard after this point if i play for scores, can't kill the boss without bombing etc.
I've since then perfected this part to where i always stream the little planes in stages 1, exit stage 1 with 2M.
Stage 2 has the train/little yellow planes which is also possible to stream, but it depends on how i score in the area before that and die(rank) or not.
Lack of play means i currently keep dying halfway stage 3, but this kind of score is enough to keep me ahead of the competition in my area
