Re: System 246 extra buttons
if you use it in a naomi and get the extra kick from Giz10p.com it works fine

thats the one i use in the naomi and no problems on a 246.

Re: System 246 extra buttons
Thanks guys
I've finally figured it out, there was some missing cable in the kick harness!
But there comes another problem.. the game stuck after 10 minutes of play.. i see a green ligh blinking very fast on the board.. +5V problem?

Re: System 246 extra buttons
Blinking LED = voltage problem. Measure your voltages with the 246 running.
As for Fighting Jam, this was actually intended to be used with the Capcom I/O. Any JVS I/O that supports 6 buttons will work fine, but Capcom intended you use their hardware (according to the manual).

Re: System 246 extra buttons
Thanks mate, i'm using the original one provided with the kit. Yeah, voltage problems.. i've turn down the +5V and now is running very fine..
I can use a Capcom I/o as i have it, but how do i power it up as the cables are diffent? (also, theres the +3 voltage that 246 doesn't require)
