NAOMI 1 + Virtua Tennis 2 + ERROR 01

Hi all,

I own a NAOMI 1 Board with MultiBIOS. When I plug in Virtua Tennis 2, the following message appears: NAOMI ERROR 01 THIS GAME IS NOT ACCEPTABLE BY MAIN BOARD.
The contacts and the board look fine. Other games run without problems.
What could be the reason for this?

Try plugging the cart in with the top of the motherboard case removed.

Thank you for the hint, but it didn't help.
In the meantime I did a RAM test and at IC29 it says "BAD". Is it possible that this capacitor is defective but Virtua Striker, for example, runs without problems?

I have replaced IC29 and Test is OK now. Traces checked and no interruptions present.
Nevertheless, it still says "Error 01".
Rom Board Test says "unknown title".
As said, Virtua Striker for example runs without problem.
Any ideas? Thanks!

it might worth getting a spare Naomi motherboard from Aliexpress or similar - I think it worked out around £60 each for me.
