Seibu Raiden can’t be full screen

Hi

I got Both Raiden 1 and 2 but Raiden 2 can be full screen except Raiden 1 can’t be.

Why is that? Please see pics

If the monitor is a Nanao MS8, there's a normal/wide jumper on the chassis that should help.

It’s MS9 chassis and A68KJU96X Toshiba monitor

There are horizontal and vertical size limit pots on the chassis. Adjust those.

But y it’s only for Raiden 1, others games like Raiden 2 and Raiden fighters with fine!

Raiden 1 likely has a faster dot clock / narrower raster.

MS9 has the same jumper, if you run CPS3 you will probably need to move it for that too.

On the MS9 it will affect linearity more than actual width.
