Bubble Bobble PCB -5V on an Egret 2 cab?

Hi all
Finally picked up an original Bubble Bobble today. It comes with a JAMMA adapter but I had a query before it arrives. I'm aware it relies on the-5v line, for sound and functionality. I've read seemingly hit and miss reports saying there are issues on certain Candys and wondered if it has issues with an E2 so I can sort mine out before the board arrives. I'm using a fully recapped original Taito PSU.

I don't have this game, with E2 I have no problems with -5v.

When I need -5v in the AWSD (12v / 3.3v / 5v) I use an adapter with negatron, the most practical solution when the -5v is missing in the cabinet
