Hi everyone
Wanted to play my neglected ESP Ra DE, but only get a strange start picture. From there it doesn't boot. I controled the 5V on the Jamma and also cleaned the Jamma contacts on the PCB. Any other advice or direct package to vectorglow for repair? I read he's "the man" for such things right?

You're missing the full extent of the jam
Did you try gently reseating the ROMs?

Re: ESP Ra De doesn't start
Yes , definately...may have got a little damp in storage ..& developed a little verdigris on an Eeprom etc...i would carefully remove each one & take a photo first & note where they go...i use servisol 10 switch cleaner & cotton buds, gently clean each pin carefully & blow out the seats with compressed air.
Take your time & use a magnifying glass & check for any damage/cuts scrapes to tracks & components etc..items can slide across a pcb in storage & cause damage difficult to see at times.

It's nice to have professional electronic technicians in the company. So we checked the IC sockets under the microscope. The IC socket clampings didn't look perfect and were also a bit coroded. My board got all new high quality IC sockets. => flawless victroy . Board is working perfect again. Thanks everyone!

Nice! Glad glad to hear you got it fixed.
I think my Fever SOS still needs a reflow or something. One of these years I'll get around to it... maybe never
