I'm looking for ideas on how to clean a dirty mvs pcb. I have heard of cleaning under the sink after discharging the capacitors but I do not know how to do such a thing. Willing to learn tho.
I have not tested the board yet, I do not want to until it is somewhat clean in fear of shorting something.

I would start with a paint brush, and maybe compressed air..

Already did that, that's as far as I could cleaned. Used a soft toothbrush as well.
Is there any kind of product I can use?

Looks shot to me, if it was mine I would wash it in soapy water, dry, rinse then leave to dry for a few days somewhere warm.
Ps. Get the battery off first.

I would take off the battery, remove anything socketed then run it through the dishwasher. Make sure it's super dry before reinserting chips and testing.
