MVS Cart giving Z80 error?

Post by itruk »

My once working 120 in 1 MVS cart is now giving the Z80 error in which ever motherboard it is slotted into

I've tested it on two seperate MB's and it gives the same result, whilst my crappy football cart works fine on both. I'm fairly new to the whole MVS scene, so please excuse my sill question :)

Seems the most likely culprit is a dirty cart. If another cart or carts are working in the motherboards, then good news that it's not the motherboards causing the issue.

As above, could be a dirty cart. Give it a clean and try again. If you're still getting the same issue then the m1 rom on the cart could be faulty.

Just took this apart and it's as clean as inside so still used a fibreglass pen on the connectors and put it together.

Still Z80 error :(
