Hello!
I was looking into placing a Namco board in my astro city, to play Chou DBZ, and a couple of other games. They are all 246 system games. I noticed that the 256 system is a slight upgrade, so would it be wiser to grab that based on prices I find? The games should play well on 256 boards, correct?
Lastly, this wouldnt require another power supply like NAOMI2 does, would it?
If there are any pitfalls or advice of the system, let me know! Not familiar with this set as well.

Re: NAMCO 246/256 Question
256 is backwards compatibile with 246. It has a Jamma adapter if you wanna do 15k, so I don't believe an extra PSU is needes.

Hi
All 246 games are not compatibles with system 256 ( Tekken 4 for example ):

For psu , you can use Namco iO board
I use system 256 with Namco iO board on my candy cab and everything working well
