Mushihimesama rom sets
I just wonder. A friend told me that he still has a different rom set for his Mushihimesama.
Is it possible to switch the rom set on this board without soldering?

You need to flash u4 through the jtag connection. **** it up and you'll potentially brick the board.

What you recommend? leave 1.0 on it?yosai wrote:You need to flash u4 through the jtag connection. **** it up and you'll potentially brick the board.

Yes. There isn't a lot of info on flashing, there's a risk you will brick the pcb and 1.0 is a lot rarer than 1.5.geosnow wrote:What you recommend? leave 1.0 on it?yosai wrote:You need to flash u4 through the jtag connection. **** it up and you'll potentially brick the board.
Edit: that being said, let us know if you do it and how it goes

So I received the game but it is not as he described.
It it normal Mushihimesama but with no serial port. 3941 is the serial number. This number is higher then my Ibara.

Re: Mushihimesama rom sets
I'm confused Are you talking about Mushi vanilla or Futari 1.0/1.5? Could you post a picture of the version screen (just out of curiosity)?

Re: Mushihimesama rom sets
sorry, to confuse.
First I talked about Futari 1.0/1.5. My friend told me that hi has a Futari 1.0 but also the version 1.5 on an other chip. That confused me so I opened this topic. Later on my friend told me, that I made a mistake and it is not the Futari. It is just a normal Mushi vanilla. Apparently, the board is quite new and with out the serial port.
